Comfortable and cheap stay in Singapore

The bed is very comfortable and spacious, location of the hotel is great!

The hostel ambience was a bit quiet and the sharing lobby area didn't make easier to make friends with other guests

Cool Spacepod, but the hostel is ‘Okay’

I loved the spacepod! Comfortable bed and you have a small locker.

The common area feels like a canteen.. The showers and toilets are dirty.

The bed was comfortable and you get more privacy than in a normal hostel because of the capsule. Two people fit fine in the capsule. It was clean

There are not that many toilets and they are unisex. The toilet and shower are in the same compartment. I was there with my girlfriend and she mentioned that the atmosphere would not be very comfortable as a female solo travel. People were also talking in the room late at night

Pleasant stay at Spacepod@hive

We had a great experience for first time stay in a hostel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They provided us with all the basic amenities including the cooking (via. Oven) and laundry for free. Definitely recommended for a value stay.

Some of the power sockets in my capsule were loose and falling apart, which could have been taken care of.

Great stay overall, especially for the price.

Clean and quiet pod. Totally worth the money as a solo traveller.

The luggage locker is inside the room, so you have to be careful to not disturb others when taking things in and out of the lockers.

Best possible stay in Singapore for a low-budget traveler.

For low-budget travellers, this place is perfect. One of my best experiences in a pod-based hostel room. I wish more hostels copy this model of pods that provide a cheap yet comfortable hostel experience. I loved the over area where you can work/socialize. And also the common kitchen area and shared fridge.

Large pods

The pod was quite large, the bed linens were clean and the pillows were comfortable. There was plenty of space in the room for backpacks, and there were designated hooks and areas for each pod. Sandals available to use as well. Staff were very nice and friendly. We were able to use the shower facilities, and store our packs after we checked out (since our flight left late in the day). They also have free laundry during certain hours.

The pods do not lock, and it got quite hot inside the pod. The room itself had good air conditioning, but we slept in the top pod and we had to open the door because it got quite hot inside. (We have stayed in similar capsules in Singapore, and we did not get hot and the pods locked so we could store things in there when we weren't around). The entire hostel is not air conditioned so it was really hot and muggy in the common areas. As soon as we were done showering, we would be drenched in sweat again.

Friendly staff, an inhouse cat, free usage of washing machine, generally clean spaces, no rats or cockcroaches. like the sleeping pods.

bathroom is clean but can be better but unrealistic to have staffs clean them 24x7. staffs can consider placing some cleaning tools outside the baths so that users can clean it up if they want to. increase number of laundry baskets cos it gets busy at night.

Good for short term.

Good place to spend a few days in Singapore, it’s not really a hostel vibe so don’t expect to meet other travellers. Lots of people are actually living there. You can do your laundry for free early mornings or late evenings, so that was nice. Free coffee and tea too. They also got a big fat cat who’s lovely but can be scratchy.
